Privacy policy
In short
This site sets no tracking cookies, uses no third-party analytics service, and shares no data for advertising purposes. That is why you see no consent banner here: there is nothing to consent to.
Audience measurement
The site counts its own visits, with no outside service. For each page view and each click on an interactive element, it records: the page, the element clicked, the display language, the kind of device (phone or computer), and where the visit came from, inferred from the site that sent you here.
To tell two visitors apart without identifying them, the site computes an irreversible fingerprint from your IP address, your browser and a secret key kept on the server. That fingerprint cannot be traced back to you, and changes as soon as your address or browser changes.
These detailed records are deleted automatically after forty days. Only totals — plain numbers, with no fingerprint — are kept beyond that, to follow how traffic evolves.
Contact form
What you enter in the form is used solely to answer your request. It is never sold, nor used to send you messages you did not ask for.
Your last name, first name, email address, phone number, message and the details of the engagement you have in mind are encrypted before being stored (AES-256-GCM). A copy of the database would therefore be unreadable without the key, which is not stored in it.
The date received, the nature of the request and the language remain in plain text: they are the only fields needed to sort the inbox, and they identify no one.
Until you send the form, your answers are kept IN YOUR OWN BROWSER (local storage), so that a reload or a closed tab does not make you type everything again. They never leave your device, and that draft is erased as soon as the request is sent.
This data is kept for as long as we are in touch, then for three years from the last contact.
YouTube videos
The “Find me across my channels” section shows the videos from Linconnu’s YouTube channel using YouTube’s EMBEDDED PLAYER. When you reach that section, the players visible on screen are loaded from the youtube-nocookie.com domain: Google then receives your IP address and the usual technical details of your browser, and its privacy policy applies to that part of the page.
Two precautions are taken. The domain used is YouTube’s “no-cookie” one: no advertising cookie is set until a video is played. And loading is DEFERRED: only the videos actually on screen load their player, the others wait until you scroll the strip.
The rest of the site loads nothing from anywhere else: no other section makes any request to a third-party service.
Cookies
Only one cookie may be set: the one that keeps the administration area signed in, and only after a successful login. It is strictly necessary for that area to work and is never set during an ordinary visit.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information about you, as well as restriction of its processing, by writing to contact email. You will receive a reply within one month.
Audience measurements fall outside such requests: containing nothing that identifies you, they cannot be linked to a person — not even by the site's publisher.
